• Extremely hard wearing.
• Can be used for cellulosic and petrochemical fire protection.
• Very high levels of finish can be achieved with some epoxy products.
• Best suited to be done off-site due to plural pump setup required.
• Can achieve high film builds overcoat.

Negatives

• Expensive product to buy.
• Requires expensive plural component equipment to apply.
• Only achieves higher 90 to 120 minute FRLs.
• Hard to achieve high levels of finish.
